The Federal Authority for Identity, Customs, Citizenship and Ports Security of UAE has denied a viral social media post regarding Emirates ID. About a warning issued on Thursday morning, the authority rejected the information in the post, which stated that Gulf citizens could get Emirates ID cards only by paying a fee.

However, it only showed blurred images of the viral post.

The ICP stated, ” The population registry to get the Emirates ID card requires fulfilling the requirements.”
