UAE: An Indian Businessman Contributes Dh10 Million to Sheikh Mohammed's Effort to Honor Mothers.

An Indian businessman and philanthropist donated Dh10 million to the Dh1 billion fund Dubai hopes to raise to commemorate mothers this Ramadan.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has started the Mother’s Endowment initiative, which allows people to donate in their mothers’ names. The cash will be used to help millions of people worldwide receive an education.

Extending aid to needy communities worldwide is the finest way to demonstrate our heartfelt gratitude to our mothers,” Balachandran stated as he announced the Dh10-million commitment.

“Also, as an Indian citizen residing in the UAE, it is a chance for me to humbly manifest the benevolence of these two Great nations and contribute to the holistic elevation of world society at large,” he went on to say.

“The Mother’s Endowment campaign is especially significant because millions worldwide live difficult lives without access to education and training. This endowment fund will be important in empowering them to change their circumstances via education.
