Dubai: The number of affordable Indian curriculum schools is rising

Indian-curriculum schools in Dubai are generally the preferred choice for many parents due to their affordability and the chance they provide for exposure to both traditional and foreign cultures.

Numerous principals in the United Arab Emirates reaffirmed this after the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) disclosed on Thursday that 15,000 kids, or 83% of the student body, are currently enrolled in Indian curriculum schools that have been classified as “Good” or “Better.”

During the 2023–24 inspections, it is noteworthy that at least four schools received higher ratings.

With 73% of students attending Indian curriculum schools with comparable ratings, this percentage was 10% lower the previous academic year.

The lowest and maximum annual tuition rates for these schools are Dh5,150 and Dh10,253, respectively.

Great education

Parents moving to Dubai from India recognize the exceptional value that schools like ours offer, according to Rashmi Nandkeolyar, Principal and Director of Delhi Private School Dubai. It provides excellent instruction combined with global best practices, excellent value for the money, sterling morals, and exposure to both Indian and foreign cultures. The convenience of traveling back home, relocating to the West, or staying in Dubai is an advantage.

Headteachers clarify that parents focus on a school’s stellar reputation, the professional prospects its graduates secure at universities, and the holistic development of students’ personalities.
