UAE: 'Ahlan Modi' will be grandly welcomed by 400 artists and 150 groups.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will greet the expat community in Abu Dhabi with much fanfare at a gala reception featuring several enthralling acts. The largest Indian community conference is scheduled for February 13 and is called “Ahlan Modi,” according to the organizers.

The first traditional stone temple in the area, the BAPS Hindu Mandir, will also be opened by the Indian Prime Minister. February 14 will mark the much-anticipated opening of the temple with a unique “Festival of Harmony.”

At a magnificent reception at Zayed Sports City Stadium, “Ahlan Modi” will showcase the rich cultural history and expanding UAE-Indian partnership through performances by over 400 performers.

According to the organizers, the event is a “significant moment for the Indian diaspora to reflect on the accomplishments of the Indian government over the past decade and to embrace Prime Minister Modi’s vision for India’s future as a global leader.”
