Hind City

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and ruler of Dubai, dubbed Al Minhad and its surroundings “Hind City” on Sunday.

The city is split into four zones that span 83.9 km: Hind 1, Hind 2, Hind 3, and Hind 4.

Hind City is connected to Dubai by Dubai-Al Ain Road, Emirates Road, and Jebel Ali-Lehbab Road.

In 2010 Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, oversaw the renaming of Burj Dubai to Burj Khalifa.

Al Minhad has been renamed “Hind City” by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the vice president, prime minister, and minister of defense of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and ruler of Dubai.

He is the third child and former vice president of the United Arab Emirates of Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai. After the death of his brother Maktoum in 2006, Mohammed assumed the roles of vice president and ruler.
