1. Luxurious Marine Patrol

The Dubai Police has unveiled a groundbreaking ‘Luxurious Marine Patrol,’ a high-speed response vehicle designed for marine incidents and emergency rescue operations. With a top speed of 45 knots per hour, automatic engine, and a capacity of 1800 cc, this marvel of modern engineering can swiftly respond to save lives, weighing in at 320 kilograms and capable of carrying up to two passengers.

2. Self-Driving Security Patrol

Dubai Police has also introduced an eco-friendly, fully electric self-driving security patrol vehicle tailored for residential areas. Equipped with advanced AI technology, it detects criminal behavior, recognizes faces, and reads license plates. Enhancing security coverage in residential zones, its 360-degree capture capability and direct communication technology ensure rapid response and coordination with the police command center.

3. AI-Enhanced Delivery Bike Monitoring

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has taken road safety to new heights with AI-powered technology to monitor delivery bike riders. AI-driven cameras track potential violations, significantly reducing inspection time, increasing daily inspections, and providing valuable insights into rider behavior, ensuring the safety of both riders and road users.

4. Facial Recognition for Metro Cards

RTA’s innovation continues with a revolutionary system that enables commuters to pay for public transport fares using facial recognition technology. Passengers can make payments seamlessly without the need for tickets or cards. By registering and identifying users through 3D facial features, this system streamlines transactions, enhances efficiency, and reduces reliance on cash payments, making daily commutes more convenient.

5. Yasmina: Arabic-Speaking AI Voice Assistant

Yasmina, an Arabic-speaking AI voice assistant, adds a unique cultural touch to digital interactions. Designed with a Khaleeji accent and a blend of IQ, EQ, and AI, Yasmina stands out as a virtual assistant that truly understands local context. She communicates in various Arabic dialects and injects humor, making interactions with technology engaging and relatable for Emirati users.

GITEX 2023 continues to serve as a beacon of technological innovation, spotlighting incredible progress in the tech industry. With these cutting-edge technologies, Dubai cements its status as a forward-thinking city that embraces the future while prioritizing safety, efficiency, and user experience.
