UAE will continue to see cold weather, and drivers should be aware of the formation of fog.

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) reported that the weather condition, which lasted for three days and brought with it rain of varying intensities and fog formation, was caused by the extension of a surface air depression from the southwest, accompanied by humid southeasterly winds, with an extension of an upper air depression with a cold air mass and a western air current. The NCM also reported that varying amounts of clouds flew from the west.

Wednesday was predicted to be transparent to partly cloudy, with occasional cloud cover in specific eastern locations. Rainfall was possible, and temperatures were predicted to climb. Thursday morning and evening will be humid, with a possibility of light fog forming in some interior regions.

The NCM reports that on Wednesday, the sea will be light to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman and that winds will be northeasterly to southeasterly, light to moderate, and occasionally strong. The NCM predicts that Thursday’s weather will be apparent to partly overcast, with occasional cloud cover in some eastern regions and the potential for light rain.
