Sheikh Mohammed: "Mercy upon our martyrs and glory to the UAE"

The Honorable Using the “X” platform on Monday, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister, and ruler of Dubai, praised the martyrs of the United Arab Emirates who gave their lives in the line of duty to uphold stability and security. Praise be to the United Arab Emirates, which spares no effort to consolidate peace and security for the benefit of humanity throughout the region and the world.

The four UAE Armed Forces martyrs’ remains arrived at Al Bateen Executive Airport in Abu Dhabi on Sunday, traveling in a military plane owned by the Armed Forces.

In carrying out their mission to train and qualify the Somali Armed Forces as part of a bilateral agreement between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Somalia that falls within the military cooperation between the two countries, the UAE Ministry of Defence (MoD) has announced the martyrdom of three members of the UAE Armed Forces and an officer from the Bahrain Defence Force, along with the injuries of two others, in a terrorist act in the Republic of Somalia. Upon arrival, one of the two injured people had died.
