After an Indian aircraft makes a rough landing in Dubai, the pilot is relieved of duty.

Indian media sources state that following a hard landing in Dubai, an Air India pilot was derostered.

According to the Times of India, the aircraft, which was departing from Kochi, landed on December 20. The landing was not as smooth as it should have been, but the airplane stopped safely.

According to a representative for Air India, an inquiry has begun in accordance with Directorate General of Civil Aviation regulations, and the pilot will not be permitted to fly until it is finished.

Before being cleared to return to India, the aircraft was kept on the ground in Dubai for a week while thorough inspections were conducted. Indian media said that the A320 aircraft was relatively recent, which may be the reason the landing gear was not damaged during the hard landing. The plane hasn’t flown since the incident, according to flight tracking websites.
