The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque has welcomed almost 67 million visitors since it opened.

The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque has received approximately 67 million visits in the past 16 years, making it a well-known international attraction.
This outstanding accomplishment is demonstrated by the execution of several projects, programs, and religious and cultural events, all of which highlight the Mosque’s crucial role in projecting a favorable image of Islam. The Mosque has cemented its standing as a center for advancing harmony, tolerance, and the rich cultural, Islamic, Arab, and regional legacy. Its distinct attractiveness as a travel destination has also been substantially improved.

The Director-General of the Center, Dr. Youssef Al Obaidli, emphasized the Mosque’s unique position in the world. This accomplishment is credited to His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of the Presidential Court, Deputy Prime Minister, and Vice President, for his steadfast support and direction. With the help of this assistance, the Center has risen to prominence in the area. It is now widely recognized for its creative projects, varied programs, educational events, and coexistence and cultural interchange promotion.

As a result, this impressive building has evolved into a center for research and learning and a national and religious icon that draws tourists in with its breathtaking Islamic design. It genuinely symbolizes Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan’s humanitarian heritage.
