With the holidays quickly approaching, Dubai has transformed into an enchanted wintry paradise. There’s a lot going on in the city right now, from enormous Christmas trees and gingerbread houses to icy playgrounds and surfing Santas.
Here’s a list of some of the city’s most thrilling, joyous, and enjoyable events:
Gingerbread house dome:
Although you’ve probably seen other gingerbread houses, this one is unique. A stunning 6-meter-long, 2.5-meter-wide, and 2-meter-tall gingerbread house that echoes the spirit of COP28 and is inspired by the Al Wasl Dome is on display in the foyer of H Dubai. Throughout December, this show will remain in place for visitors to view and snap pictures of.
Guests at Wild Wadi Waterpark can enjoy themselves with the super awesome Santa who surfs. Every day at 12 p.m., 3 p.m., and 5 p.m. at the Flowrider, Santa will be slaying the wave rides while wearing board shorts.
In addition, the park will feature a family-friendly competition called Water Olympics every day at 4 p.m. near the Flood River. The competition will include tube races, walks against the current, and bucket challenges.
