Among the least regulated and most exploited fields is mental health. Mental health illnesses can cost the world economy up to $1 trillion annually, according to the WHO.
In an exclusive interview with Gulf Today, Ishan Shivanand—a well regarded mental health professor and researcher with a focus on non-pharmaceutical and non-invasive meditation techniques—made this remark.
The current conditions demand comprehensive, integrative, and empirically supported approaches to wellbeing. The UAE’s Happiness Agenda inspires us to provide scientific solutions for holistic health to the Middle Eastern population. In addition, Shivanand expressed hope that the Middle East’s Mental Resilience Training Programs would benefit the mental health of youth, medical professionals, governmental organizations, and anybody else who aspires to a happier, healthier, and more resilient existence.
We are addressing this by introducing the Yoga of Immortals (YoI) Mental Resilience Training Program in the Middle East, which has been successfully implemented at prestigious government and hospital facilities worldwide.
Ishan Shivanand will conduct frequent, interactive online sessions to administer the YoI Mental Resilience Training Program as a software-based intervention in the Middle East.
