Anwaar-ul Haq Kakar, the interim prime minister of Pakistan, was welcomed by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan while he was in the United Arab Emirates for a work visit.

Sheikh Mohamed and Kakar talked about cooperation between the UAE and Pakistan during their meeting in Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi. They focused on finding new ways to advance the interests of both countries.

Along with agriculture, food security, and energy, among other areas of cooperation that promote sustainable development and add to the wealth of both countries, special attention was paid to economic, investment, and developmental domains.

The presidents discussed other matters of mutual concern, including events in the Middle East and the Gaza Strip situation, as well as regional and global challenges.

The importance of finding long-term means for providing humanitarian relief to the Gazan people and the pressing necessity to create a ceasefire were also emphasized during the conference.

They emphasized the necessity of taking action on the international level to provide a clear route to a comprehensive, just, and long-lasting peace in the area, guaranteeing the maintenance of peace and stability both locally and globally.
