Dutch PM Applauds UAE's Efforts to Extradite Criminals Who are Wanted Taghi Faisal

The UAE’s efforts and security cooperation, through the Dubai Police, in extraditing Faisal Taghi, a high-value target criminal wanted by Dutch authorities, have been praised by Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof. Schoof went on to express his appreciation for the UAE and the solid bilateral ties between the two countries.

In the meantime, Dubai Police announced the capture of 24-year-old Dutch national Faisal Taghi, who was wanted on a worldwide arrest warrant for drug trafficking, money laundering, human trafficking, and being the leader of the criminal group “Angels of Death.” The successful collaboration between Dubai Police, Dutch police, and Interpol allowed the arrest.

Chief of the Dubai Police, Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, stated that this international security cooperation is in line with the strategic directives of the UAE, which is to fortify international ties and collaborations with police and security organisations across the globe.

He stated, “This follows the guidance of His Highness Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, to enhance deep and robust relations between the UAE and various countries in combating all forms of crime.
