A Student in Dubai Develops an App for Free Book Exchange

To solve the problem of what to do with books when the school year ends, a 17-year-old student in Dubai created an app that allows parents and students to communicate and purchase, sell, or donate used books.

The head boy of Delhi Private School Sharjah, Rudraksh Bhandari, stated that his mobile app “will help reduce the environmental impact of book production, in addition to making educational resources more accessible.”

He continued, “We also want to foster a thriving reader community by forming an engaging group of like-minded individuals who support sustainability and the joy of reading.”

You may get the ShareAllBooks app from the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and Apple Shops.

According to Bhandari, using the app is straightforward. “Users simply need to register, and they can browse for the necessary books,” she said. Additionally, the app includes geographical and genre filters. Users can also post books they want to donate or sell. After that, people can contact one another directly to schedule a meeting or to have books delivered.

“I’m convinced that we can maintain this in the years to come because I believe in the significance and impact of my initiative,” Bhandari continued.
