Dubai Municipality wWns a Prize for Worldwide Safety

The award is given to organizations that uphold the strictest guidelines for occupational health and safety, guaranteeing a long-term, safe, and healthy work environment that protects workers, subcontractors, and guests—including people with a strong work ethic—while also protecting property.

The award highlights Dubai Municipality’s accomplishments in fulfilling a key component of its strategic plan: building a sustainable food, health, and environment ecosystem characterized by the highest levels of workplace safety and public health. Dubai Municipality also secured the second position from the same award for its exceptional project titled “Corporate Health and Safety Management in Dubai Municipality.”

The Municipality is committed to maintaining a strong and long-lasting safety culture and creating and executing international standards in its operations and work sites.

This achievement demonstrates the Municipality’s dedication to abiding by the law and its efforts to prioritize risk assessment, emergency readiness, speedy accident investigations, and learning from previous mishaps. It also highlights Dubai Municipality’s desire to put workers’ mental health and the safety of strong individuals first and to guarantee the security of suppliers and contractors while upholding the ISO 45001 standard.
