UAE Weather: As Rains Lash the Nation, a Yellow Alert is Issued

The National Center of Meteorology of UAE has stated that intermittent cloud cover and rain will occur throughout the day in certain locations, particularly in the north and east.

There will be light to moderate winds that will bring in fresh air, especially over the sea, resulting in the blowing of sand and dust.

There was rain last night in a few areas of the United Arab Emirates. Additionally, the NCM has alerted locals about the onset of convective clouds. The warning states: “Convective cloud formation over some coastal areas, extending Northward and Eastward, associated with rainfall and fresh to strong winds with a speed of 55 kmph, causing blowing dust, reducing horizontal visibility and rough sea, from 9pm on Wednesday until 6pm on Friday.”
