UAE Prepared for the Impending Weather Conditions

The Ministry of Interior, the National Center of Meteorology, and other pertinent government agencies attended a series of meetings held by the Joint Assessment Team for Meteorological and Tropical Situations, which the National Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management Authority in the UAE conducted to confirm the country’s preparedness to handle the impending weather situation.

Since the nation is currently recovering from the previous situation, the authority confirmed that all relevant parties are prepared to deal with the depression by taking all proactive measures. It also added that the program will be activated after researching and analyzing the specifics of the weather situation and its effects in the areas that the nation may be affected by.

However, the Ministry of Interior urged the public to use caution, follow safety precautions and guidelines, and follow the orders of the appropriate and official authorities in the nation to ensure the safety of all societal segments during the weather situation. The Ministry of Interior wishes everyone a safe and secure holiday season. The people was urged by the government not to propagate rumors and only to obtain information, direction, and updates from official sources within the nation.
