UAE: Police Discover Jewelry Valued at Dh800,000 and Prevent a Gold Smuggling Plot.

A significant gold smuggling operation, including jewelry valued at Dh800,000, was stopped by the Sharjah Police.

In the late hours of the night, a jewelry store in Khorfakkan was robbed. After receiving a complaint, the operations room of the Sharjah Police hurried over to the crime scene. A group was established to gather information and carry out an inquiry.

The crew was able to identify the members of the gang responsible for the crime after several hours of investigation.

The stolen jewelry was also discovered by the police in a shipping container at a port, where it was being shipped out of the nation the following morning. They have forwarded the case to and are presently trying to apprehend the gang members

The owners of business enterprises have been urged by the Sharjah Police to install surveillance equipment and secure their stores. Additionally, they have exhorted people and owners to report such events by calling the emergency number 999 without hesitation.
