The eighth group of Palestinians seeking medical attention in Abu Dhabi is sick and injured.

On Friday morning, the eighth group of wounded, injured, and sick Palestinians arrived at Abu Dhabi Airport via Al-Arish Airport en route from Gaza. Operating under the directives of the President of the State, Operation Gallant Knight 3 involved the transfer of the patients, thereby creating an Emirati flying hospital.

The UAE has promised to treat 1,000 cancer patients at UAE hospitals as well as 1,000 injured Palestinian children and their families.

To monitor patients and injuries sustained during their transfer to Abu Dhabi, the Emirati Flying Hospital was supported by a medical team led by multiple physicians with expertise in different medical specializations, including critical care physicians, as well as nurses and technical staff from other hospitals.

Last week, the water desalination plants created by the UAE in the Egyptian city of Rafah were opened to pump drinking water to the Gaza Strip’s people, following the directions of UAE President Sheikh Shakhboot Bin Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, who is also the Minister of State.

To provide water to the Gaza Strip, the UAE built six stations with a combined daily capacity of 1,200,000 gallons, helping over 600,000 people. Less than three weeks were needed to finish the stations.
