Sheikha Bodour Advocates for Investing in Women for a Brighter Future.

Sheikha Bodour Bint Sultan Al Qasimi noted that for over a century, International Women’s Day (IWD) has served as a powerful reminder of women’s indomitable spirit around the globe.

“As we prepare to celebrate this milestone in women’s progress in 2024, the theme “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress” deeply resonates, urging us to reflect on the tremendous strides made, acknowledge the challenges ahead, and recommit to the collective empowerment of women in every walk of life,” said Sheikha Bodour Al Qasimi in a statement commemorating International Women’s Day, which is observed on March 8 each year.

Today, more women than ever are CEOs, astronauts, self-made millionaires, and international leaders, demonstrating that no challenge is too great and no ambition is out of reach. Women have risen to prominence in boardrooms, laboratories, art studios, and political arenas, demonstrating that brilliance transcends gender. These women are remarkable torchbearers, forging a path to inspire future generations. Their outstanding contributions have benefited individual industries and moved society forward by creating a brighter tomorrow via diversity, innovation, and the crucial female perspective.
