Sharjah Will Install Hundreds of Electric Vehicle Chargers, Including Those on its Roadways.

For the purpose of installing and managing electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure throughout the Emirate of Sharjah, including the city and coastal areas, the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA) is collaborating with BEEAH.

At the BEEAH headquarters, Dr. Eng. Yousif Khamis Mohamed Alathmane, Chairman of SRTA, and his delegates recently met with senior BEEAH Group officials and Khaled Al Huraimel, Group CEO and Vice Chairman of BEEAH, to talk about partnership strategies and potential.

By enabling people to transition to electric vehicles, the EV charging network will strengthen Sharjah’s standing as a leader in sustainability within the area.

The SRTA Chairman discussed the significance of the exclusive cooperation, saying, “The ‘Electric Chargers’ initiative, in collaboration with BEEAH,

It emphasizes our dedication to promoting green energy, keeping up with national plans targeted at improving mechanisms for attaining sustainability in energy and climate change and matching the UAE’s quick advancements in sustainable development applications.

Alathmane emphasized how crucial the initiative is to solving the growing issue of electric vehicle ownership and the demand for quick chargers. According to him, the initiative’s goals are to satisfy Sharjah’s consumers’ present demands and promote the use of environmentally beneficial alternatives.
