RIYADH: To discuss the Israel-Hamas conflict, Saudi Arabia Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan traveled to Barcelona, Spain, on Monday.

During the Joint Arab-Islamic Extraordinary Summit earlier in Riyadh, the ministerial committee led by Prince Faisal was tasked with finding a quick solution to the Gaza war.

According to a statement released by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs on X platform, “the meeting discussed the efforts made to launch effective international action to stop the war and the humanitarian catastrophe it produces, in addition to the commitment to protect civilians and ensure the application of the rules of international law and humanitarian law.”

In order to review the current situation in Gaza and the accomplishments of the humanitarian truce, which has resulted in the release of certain Israeli captives and Palestinian detainees, Prince Faisal and the ministers met with José Manuel Albarez, the Foreign Minister of Spain.

“More devastation, radicalization, and fighting at the expense of Palestinian lives and regional security, including Israel’s, is the only certain outcome [of the war].” We have been adamant in denouncing any type of civilian targeting since this crisis began. According to Prince Faisal, on both sides.
