Russia and Saudi Arabia sign a deal to fight corruption

In an effort to fight corruption and improve cooperative efforts, Russia’s Public Prosecution Service and Saudi Arabia’s Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) signed a memorandum of understanding on Thursday in Moscow, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

An agreement is signed by Russian Prosecutor-General Igor Krasnov and President Mazin bin Ibrahim Al-Kahmous of Nazaha.

Signed by Russian Prosecutor-General Igor Krasnov and President Mazin bin Ibrahim Al-Kahmous of Nazaha, the agreement calls on the two parties to combat cross-border corruption, share information, and build institutional capacity on an individual basis.

After the meeting, Al-Kahmous took a tour of the Moscow Public Prosecutor’s Office University.

After receiving an invitation from Krasnov to examine the anti-corruption measures taken by the Russian Public Prosecution Service, Al-Kahmous traveled to Russia.
