On April 16–17, UAE Public Schools will Offer Remote Learning

On April 16–17, UAE Public Schools will Offer Remote Learning.

In light of the anticipated weather unpredictability, the Emirates Schools Establishment has instructed all government schools in the United Arab Emirates to switch to remote learning on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 16–17, 2024. This choice is made to protect both students and faculty members in the event of inclement weather.
To protect the safety of students and teaching staff, the Emirates Schools Establishment has decided to adopt the distance learning system for all government schools in the UAE on Tuesday and Wednesday, corresponding to April 16 and 17, 2024, due to the current weather conditions,” the organization stated.

On Sunday, the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) released a weather alert that described the countrywide variations in weather patterns at regular intervals.

It is predicted that both surface and upper air low pressures will deepen on Monday, continuing throughout Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning, intensifying instability across the country.

The Arabian Sea’s increased humidity will be the primary cause of this spike in instability. It is anticipated that convective clouds will spread widely and produce variable-intensity rainfall along with lightning, thunder, and maybe hail in certain locations. Strong gusts and flooding could be caused by these conditions, which would reduce horizontal visibility.

Rainfall is expected to concentrate mainly in the northern and eastern areas by Wednesday morning and into the evening, then progressively decrease into Wednesday night.
