A Good-Natured Indian boy Returns a Lost Watch to the Dubai Police

Following orders from Brigadier Harib Al Shamsi, the acting director of the General Department of Criminal Investigation, the Dubai Tourist Police Department honored the young man for his integrity and sound judgment.

When Muhammad Ayan Younis discovered the watch in a tourist area while with his father, he quickly took it to the Dubai Police to make sure its rightful owner was reunited with it.

According to verification provided by Dubai Tourist Police, the watch belonged to a tourist who had previously reported it lost and had since returned to his home country. The police subsequently contacted the tourist and successfully returned the watch to him. The tourist expressed great satisfaction with Dubai’s high standard of security and integrity.

The child was given an award for his commendable action by Brigadier Khalfan Obeid Al Jallaf, Director of the Tourist Police Department, Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Abdul Rahman, his deputy, and Captain Shahab Al Saadi, Head of the Tourist Happiness Section.

According to Brigadier Al Jallaf, the child’s behaviour reflects the high moral standards and security that are common in the United Arab Emirates, especially in the country’s vital tourism industry.

To expedite the process of reuniting lost properties with their owners, Al Jallaf urged community members to use the smart lost and found services offered at the Smart Police Stations (SPS) to return found items, drawing inspiration from Muhammad Ayan Younis’s example of honesty.
