Hamas calls the Three Countries’ Recognition of the Palestinian State a “Important Step.”

We demand that nations everywhere acknowledge our rightful national rights, the Hamas group said in a statement.

The Palestinian organization Hamas called the recognition of a Palestinian state by Ireland, Norway, and Spain on Wednesday a “significant step” and urged other nations to do the same.

“We consider this an important step towards affirming our right to our land,” Hamas said. It called “on countries worldwide to recognize our legitimate national rights.”
