The United Kingdom is offering consoling news to foreign students, particularly those arriving in September 2024, reiterating that it is a friendly country that appreciates their contribution. In a recent speech at the Embassy Education Conference in London, UK Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson made encouraging remarks for international students.
“These people (international students) are brave,” the speaker remarked. They relocate to a new culture, far from their relatives and homes. They take a risk in the hopes of learning new abilities and exploring uncharted territory. And the fact that so many people in the UK wish to make that change makes me incredibly proud. And we’ll exert every effort to ensure their success.
For this reason, we provide the chance for graduates to live, work, and contribute to the UK for a period of two years (three for PhD candidates) following the completion of their studies. The UK ambassador to the UAE, Edward Hobart, stated in a statement to Khaleej Times that the country, which offers top-notch education, benefits from drawing students from all over the world, including the UAE.
He declared, “By bringing their skills, experiences, and varied backgrounds to the UK, international students from the UAE make significant contributions to the country.” This is a fantastic opportunity for students who are keen to continue their education and then start their professional journey in the UK, whether they are students contemplating studying there or are already getting ready for the upcoming academic year.
