Fans of Dubai’s biggest seasonal attraction can start securing their places today. Pre-booking for Global Village Season 31 VIP packs opens at 10am on Monday, ahead of the destination’s 14 October opening, and Dubai Police are urging buyers to be careful about where they shop.
How the pre-sale works
Sales are being held in stages, exclusively through the Coca-Cola Arena website, Khaleej Times reports. The pre-sale runs from 21 to 25 September and lets guests reserve their preferred pack early for an additional fee. General sales begin on 26 September.
Buyers must be 18 or older and hold a valid Emirates ID.
Prices and priority fees
Four VIP tiers are on offer, each with a separate priority booking fee:
- Diamond: Dh7,900, plus a Dh1,000 priority booking fee
- Platinum: Dh3,490, plus a Dh500 fee
- Gold: Dh2,490, plus a Dh300 fee
- Silver: Dh1,890, plus a Dh200 fee
If the priority fee applies on top of the listed price, a pre-sale buyer would pay Dh2,090 for Silver and Dh8,900 for Diamond. That is simple arithmetic on the published figures, so it is worth checking the final total at checkout. Shoppers who are happy to wait can avoid the fee by buying when general sales open.
The Mega packs return
The Mega Gold and Mega Silver VIP Packs are back this season. They combine Global Village’s premium privileges with Dubai Parks and Resorts seasonal passes or park tickets.
Guests can choose between three-month multi-park seasonal passes and one-day, two-park tickets. Mega Gold includes eight seasonal passes or 12 park tickets. Mega Silver includes five seasonal passes or seven park tickets.
What to expect from Season 31
Global Village opens on 14 October and will run for more than seven months, until May 2027. Its theme this year is “A More Wonderful World”. The family destination is bringing back its entertainment, dining and shopping attractions, along with several new additions.
Beware of fake offers
Excitement around the season has also drawn scammers. Dubai Police have warned the public about fake websites and social media accounts promoting fraudulent Global Village packages, designed to steal money and personal information.
Authorities said such scams tend to resurface every year around announcements of Global Village activities. Fraudsters build or clone pages that closely resemble official ones, so they can look convincing at a glance.
Police advice is to avoid unusually low prices and any offer that seems too good to be true. Tickets and packages should be bought only through official, authorised channels, and links or accounts from unknown sources should be avoided.
Tips before you buy
- Go directly to the Coca-Cola Arena website rather than following links in messages or social posts.
- Have your Emirates ID ready, as it is required for purchase.
- Decide whether the pre-sale fee is worth it for your tier, or wait for 26 September.
- Compare the Mega packs with the standard tiers if you also plan to visit Dubai Parks and Resorts.
For many UAE families, the arrival of Global Village marks the start of the cooler outdoor season. Getting the booking right, and avoiding the scams that come with it, is the first step.
