Etihad Airways Transports 10.4 Million Passengers Annually. January – July in the Year 2024

The UAE’s national airline, Etihad Airways, has made public its preliminary traffic statistics for July 2024. With 1.7 million passengers, the airline achieved a strong average load factor of 89 percent for the month.

“Our passenger numbers in July surged by 33 percent compared to the same period last year, underscoring our continuing strong growth,” stated Antonoaldo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways.

As of July 2024, our rolling 12-month passenger count stands at 16.8 million. This is an increase of 2.8 million over the same period last year, with 10.4 million passengers served thus far this year.

“With major capacity expansion since 2023, July’s load factor of 89 percent reflects our successful performance during a peak summer period.” Our fleet is growing, up from 78 aircraft in July 2023 to 93 today, and we are serving 10 additional destinations compared to the same period last year.”

The CEO of Etihad Airways, Antonoaldo Neves, stated, “Our July passenger numbers increased by 33% over the same period last year, highlighting our continued strong growth.”represents our effective performance during a busy summer season, when we have been significantly expanding our capacity since 2023.
