DXB Surpasses Goals in 2023 with 87 Million Visitors.

After a year filled with unprecedented success and remarkable expansion, Dubai International (DXB) has ended 2023 with 87 million annual visitors—exceeding both pre-pandemic and Dubai Airports’ yearly projections. With this outstanding result, DXB’s recovery path has been completed successfully and ahead of schedule, further establishing its status as the top airport in the world for international passenger traffic.

“DXB’s spectacular performance in 2023 is a resounding testament to the visionary leadership and determination of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to achieve growth and excellence,” stated Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai.

This outstanding performance highlights how Dubai has become the most sought-after travel destination in the world and how important a role it plays in international trade and commerce. These developments have been made possible by the unparalleled connectivity, aviation capacity, and logistics infrastructure that His Highness has steadily developed over the years.
