Dubai Family Company Prioritizes Expansion and Digitalization

The Dubai Chambers-affiliated Dubai Centre for Family Businesses has released the findings of a poll to determine the thoughts, goals, and tactics of the emirate’s future generation of family business owners.
The study’s purpose was to gain more insight into the evolving dynamics of family firms and the strategic paths that their future management is favoring.

The Dubai Centre for Family Businesses and global consulting firm PwC collaborated to release the 2024 study, which determined the top goals for the upcoming two years for the members of the next generation of family businesses. 889 people from 63 different countries, including those in Dubai, participated in the poll.

The study highlighted how generative AI may improve customer experience, operational effectiveness, and profitability, representing respondents’ opinions about the technology’s revolutionary potential.

According to the survey, family company owners in Dubai have a solid grasp of all business owners’ rights and responsibilities and family values and objectives. Within the next five years, the majority also stated they would like to take on a leadership role or function in governance management.
