Drones are Used by Dubai Police to Swiftly Arrive at Accident Scenes and Improve Security Throughout the Emirate

The Dubai Police General Command restates that the drones seen in the emirate’s different regions are a component of their cutting-edge “Drone Box” system, which is designed to enhance security by promptly reaching accident scenes and providing the command centre with vital data to speed up response times.

Brigadier Turki Bin Faris, director of the General Department of Operations at Dubai Police, said, “Dubai Police continues to lead the way in innovation with our cutting-edge drone system that supports police and security operations. This strategic project aims to prevent crime and guarantee community safety by utilising the most recent security technologies.”

Astute Systems

“The ‘Drone Box’ system is equipped with numerous smart platforms across the emirate,” said Brigadier Turki in further explanation. When reports are received, these drones are launched from the platforms, greatly speeding up response times for serious incidents and emergencies.

According to Brigadier Turki, the system supports a wide range of police and security operations, such as participating in field operations for traffic and security patrols, managing crises and disasters, conducting rescue missions, proactively detecting risks, monitoring traffic flow, and providing vital data and information to the command centre.
