A third group of injured Palestinians from Gaza travel to Abu Dhabi for medical attention.

On Monday morning, a third group of injured Palestinians from Gaza arrived in Abu Dhabi for medical attention.

A special aircraft transporting Palestinian youngsters and their families touched down at Abu Dhabi’s Sheikh Zayed International Airport.

As part of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s plan to treat 1,000 Palestinian youngsters from the Gaza Strip, along with their families, in UAE hospitals, the third batch arrived at Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi.

The third group consisted of 93 ill and injured individuals along with their 80 friends, several of them were cancer patients who needed to finish their treatment at public institutions.

In order to monitor the patients and injured during their transfer to Abu Dhabi, the Emirati Flying Hospital was accompanied by a medical team led by Dr. Maha Tayseer Barakat, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Medical Affairs and Life Sciences. The team included several physicians with expertise in different medical specialties, including intensive care physicians, as well as nurses and technical staff from other hospitals.

Numerous representatives from different medical fields, medical teams, and ambulances picked up the sick and injured and took them to different hospitals.
