A newly hired Indian taxi driver receives a Dh100,000 Mahzooz reward.

Abdul Gafoor ,A newly hired Indian had just been in Sharjah for seven months when he started working as a taxi driver. He does not yet have a regular wage, but he has been purchasing a Mahzooz ticket each week. His lucky day came last Saturday when he won Dh100,000.

Gafoor claimed that his roommates told him about the draw. He wasn’t wealthy because he was still in training for his career, but that didn’t stop him from paying Dh35 a week to join Mahzooz.

When he saw his name on the app, he became overwhelmed. He stated that the prize money would undoubtedly be used to pay off some debts, but he hasn’t yet broken the good news to his wife Pratik and Sathiya, like Gafoor, had been purchasing Mahzooz tickets virtually every week.

Pratik, who began taking part last year, stated that he and his spouse will mostly use the funds for their kids’ schooling. Next, some of it will be used to purchase further Mahzooz tickets. The third winner, Sathiya, and his spouse have lived in the United Arab Emirates for more than 20 years. They also have a child who is 19 years old.

The project manager has been involved in Mahzooz since its inception and is employed by a private energy firm in Dubai. Having ultimately prevailed, he said that he would use his winnings to fund his child’s education.
