ERC’s Iftar Tents Welcome Hundreds of Believers on the First Day of Ramadan.

ERC's Iftar Tents Welcome Hundreds of Believers on the First Day of Ramadan.

The Emirates Red Crescent Authority (ERC) successfully served and distributed Iftar meals in several places throughout Abu Dhabi. The impressive turnout on the first day of Ramadan demonstrates the efficiency of the ERC’s efforts.

Ramadan tents spread around the country as the holy month of Ramadan begins. During Ramadan, Iftar tent organizers guarantee that meals are ready well before the Maghreb (evening) call to prayer. These tents are placed up in all squares across the country, particularly in front of mosques and labor housing areas, and can be clearly identified by their big size and signs. The goal is to offer humane aid to people in need.

Charitable and humanitarian organizations across the country have set up Iftar tents to serve Iftar meals during the holy month of Ramadan. On the first day of Ramadan, these tents saw a significant crowd long before the call to prayer, and organizers ensured that meals were served on time.

Fasting people formed long lines in front of tents delivering Iftar meals, as they flocked to distribution sites established by the relevant authorities, many charitable organizations, and Red Crescent Authority tents.
