Tala Al Khalil, an Iraqi Pharmacist, is Named the Arab Hope Maker Prize in Dubai by Sheikh Mohammed.

The Honorable Tala Al Khalil, an Iraqi, was crowned the first Hope Maker in the Arab world on Sunday by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai. The fourth Hope Makers edition attracted over 58,000 nominations.

At the closing ceremony held at the “Coca-Cola Arena” in Dubai, the largest initiative of its kind in the Arab world was launched to honor those who have been working toward humanitarian efforts and community initiatives through which they attempt to alter the reality of their societies for the better.

During the Dubai awarding ceremony, Sheikh Mohammed ordered the four “Hope Makers” to be accorded the same value as the inaugural “Hope Maker” award. A select group of influential media, humanitarian, and cultural luminaries from the Arab world were present at the closing ceremony.

The operetta featured “The Arab Dream,” which was brought back to life for its fourth session by the “Hope Makers” program in honor of the pioneers of hope makers. Before crowning the first hope creator in the Arab world, the ceremony examined heartwarming humanitarian stories that revealed the work of a group of humanitarian troops who used their resources and efforts to assist their communities.
