UAE: 'Influencer HQ' has been granted Dh150 million to offer year-round assistance

The decision to create a permanent influencer headquarters offering year-round support and providing a Dh150 million fund to help them boosted content makers in the UAE on Wednesday night.

The declaration was made at the New Media Academy’s 1 Billion Followers Summit in Dubai. Ninety content creators who were members of the “Social Media Professional Program” also graduated at the event.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai and vice-president of the United Arab Emirates, made the statement, emphasizing that the media truly reflects the ambitions and communities within which it finds itself. “This is why media must keep up with the world’s knowledge, sciences, and technologies, evolve its concepts and tools, and consolidate its role as a window into our national and cultural achievements.”

He emphasized the value of content production to tell the world about the United Arab Emirates and as a window into its customs, achievements, and the inventiveness of its younger generations, which propels human progress by turning ideas into reality.
