Khaled consents to the creation of an Abu Dhabi medical city focused on the health of women and children.

The Honorable The construction of a specialized medical city in Abu Dhabi devoted to women’s and children’s health has received approval from Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.

The Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC), a Center of Excellence (CoE) for pediatric care, the Corniche Hospital, which focuses on the health of women and newborns, a rehabilitation center, and a mental health center for women and children are all part of the medical city.

Sheikh Khaled emphasized that the Department of Health-Abu Dhabi and PureHealth’s plans for the medical city constitute a substantial addition to the emirate’s healthcare ecosystem, bolstering its cutting-edge healthcare infrastructure and solidifying the emirate’s standing as a top healthcare destination.

In order to maintain an integrated and preventative healthcare system that meets the community’s present and future healthcare demands while utilizing research skills and contemporary technologies to serve the community better, he also issued orders for the development of additional high-quality, specialized facilities.
