Ed Sheeran’s concert on Saturday night in Dubai is sold-out

GulfNews

There has recently been a rumor that the  Ed Sheeran, the global music icon, is seeing strong demand for his tickets. Sheeran is scheduled to perform in Dubai on January 19 and 20. The second night of his “+ – = ÷ x” tour on Saturday at Sevens Stadium is already sold out, according to the organizers. With a limited number of tickets still available, the Friday show is your best option if you want to go.

The multi-platinum singer-songwriter revealed last month that two consecutive events will be the largest open-air concerts Dubai has ever hosted. These will be the singer-songwriter’s first Middle Eastern appearances since 2017. In November, the tickets went on sale.

Both concerts, which are backed by Coca-Cola Arena and Dubai Calendar and presented by All Things Live and AEG Presents, will be held in the Sevens Stadium. There, the pop artist will serenade over 60,000 fans in his trademark in-the-round setup with a 360-degree center stage.

On both evenings, Sheeran—who is anticipated to perform all of his greatest singles, such as “Shape of You,” “Shivers,” and “Bad Habits”—will have fellow Brit Calum Scott providing backup. The highly successful USA leg of Sheeran’s tour, which saw record-breaking attendances at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium and New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium—where the gifted performer scored the greatest single-day concert attendance in USA history—was followed by the ‘+ – = ÷ x’ Asia, Middle East and Europe Tour 2024.
