A 25-year resident of Abu Dhabi wins Dh20 million in the Big Ticket draw

The lucky winner of Dh20 million in yesterday’s Series 257 Big Ticket Live draw was an expat Syrian named Azmi Mtanious Hourani.

Azmi is an A 25-year resident of Abu Dhabi  resident who has spent the last 25 years working there. Overwhelmed by his win, he informed Big Ticket’s personnel that, after more than 100 failed attempts, he had vowed this would be his final ticket purchase. By good fortune, he had received the winning call regarding his significant win the day before. On his way to Germany, Azmi bought his winning ticket at Abu Dhabi International Airport. He claimed he hadn’t determined how he would spend the money yet, but he might consider investing a portion when questioned about his plans for his wins.

Ten fortunate winners of Indian and Filipino nationalities were also revealed during last night’s live draw; they each received gold rewards totaling Dh590,000.

Azaruddin Moopar Ameed won a brand-new Maserati Ghibli at the Big Ticket live draw. The Indian national works as a content creator at Nessma Partners and has lived in Saudi Arabia for the previous 12 years. For the past two years, Azaruddin and three of his buddies have been buying raffle tickets for cash prizes and Dream Cars.

Azaruddin revealed that they haven’t decided whether to sell or keep the car after learning about his prize via the Big Ticket website. Azaruddin informed Big Ticket staff that he would keep buying Big Tickets in the hopes of becoming the lucky recipient of the top prize himself someday.
