UAE: Mothers' Endowment Campaign Receives a Dh3 Million Donation from Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank

The foremost financial organization, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), has given Dh3 million to the Mothers’ Endowment initiative, started by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai and the UAE’s vice president and prime minister.

The initiative seeks to honor mothers by creating a Dh1 billion endowment fund to sustainably support millions of people’s education worldwide.

The campaign is being organized by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), and the money raised will be used to carry out educational initiatives in partnership with humanitarian organizations, giving millions of impoverished people the means to live independent lives.

The campaign has already generated Dh770 million in donations two weeks after its launch.
