Visitors to Dubai are Welcomed with a Unique #RamadanInDubai Stamp.

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai announced the beginning of two projects to welcome tourists arriving via the city’s air and land ports during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

Upon arrival in Dubai, immigration agents stamp guests’ passports with a unique #RamadanInDubai emblem. Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office, designed the logo.

Officers also present guests with complimentary SIM cards, provided in partnership with GDRFA’s strategic partner, du, to enable smooth communication throughout their stay. Visitors also receive a QR code to scan to access Brand Dubai’s #DubaiDestinations guide, titled ‘Ramadan Events in Dubai’.

The projects were launched as part of the #RamadanInDubai campaign, which the Dubai Media Council announced at the request of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council (DMC).
