These are Prerequisites for Acquiring a Transit Visa in the United Arab Emirates.

The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship and Ports Security issues two types of transit visas: a 48-hour free transit visa and a 96-hour visa that costs only Dhs50.

The UAE Digital Government affirmed that visitors must apply for and receive a visa before to traveling to and entering the nation, and that only national airlines operating within the UAE can plan and organize the process of acquiring a transit visa for foreign nationals.
Two sorts of transit visas are issued, each with a 48-hour or 96-hour duration.

If you apply for a transit visa that is valid for 48 hours, you cannot extend it to 96 hours. The 48-hour transit permit is provided at no cost to transit tourists passing through the state on a continuous journey to another destination.

Agents of national airlines can apply for transit visas on behalf of their passengers via the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security, the UAEICP smart application on Apple and Android devices, or any other electronic channel or smart application offered by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in the applicable emirate, according to information provided by the digital government.
