UAE Traffic: Sharjah Roundabout will be Completely Closed on January 26 and 28.

Drivers are advised that a roundabout will be completely closed starting on Friday by the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority.

According to the authorities, the plaza situated between Al Qarayen 1, 3, 4, and 5 will experience a complete road closure from Friday, January 26 until Sunday, January 28.

According to the government, the work is being done to improve the road’s efficiency and perform maintenance.

The Sharjah RTA had already announced that the street leading up to University City Hall would be closed from Tuesday, January 23, to Wednesday, February 21, in addition to the intersection’s maintenance work.

The reason for the closure is the ongoing construction that will be done both before and during the Sharjah Lights Festival.

The authorities recommended drivers heed traffic and navigational signals and take other routes. They’re also told to stay out of any traffic gridlock.
