UAE: Residents Report Dense Smoke Billowing from the Scene of a Massive Fire that Breaks Out in Sharjah.

Residents and witnesses claim that on Friday, a large fire started in one of Sharjah’s industrial neighborhoods.

“I noticed a lot of smoke in the sky outside the window while working out at the gym. I dashed outside to investigate the situation. Since we reside close to the Dubai-Sharjah border, it appears to be coming from Sharjah,” KT reader Tasmiyah Anwer commented. Another resident named George M saw the thick smoke from a distance and assumed it originated from the industrial sector as he drove from Sharjah to Dubai at 2:30 p.m.

Afsha Noori, a resident in Abu Hail, could view the smoke through the window of her flat. “I spotted smoke outside about 2:30 p.m.; I live near Mamzar Beach. It was approaching from the direction of Sharjah and the Mamzar region. According to eyewitnesses, the fire appears to be in the industrial sector.

It appears that the fire is in the industrial area, according to eyewitness reports.Reports from locals and witnesses indicate that a large fire started on Friday in one of Sharjah’s industrial neighborhoods.The smoke was visible from the window of Afsha Noori’s residence in Abu Hail, where she resides.
