UAE President Announces the Dhs 20 Billion Zayed Humanitarian Legacy Initiative.

The Zayed Humanitarian Legacy Initiative was launched under the direction of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, with Dhs20 billion set aside for humanitarian projects in the most impoverished areas of the globe.

The late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the nation’s founding father, passed away 20 years ago on this day, which also happens to be Zayed Humanitarian Day.

The global humanitarian initiative highlights the UAE’s dedication to Sheikh Zayed’s philosophy of lending a helping hand, assisting in developing communities and supporting vulnerable groups. Its goal is to enhance the quality of life for the most vulnerable communities to create a prosperous future and achieve sustainable development. This funding will help millions of individuals.

The initiative’s introduction is timely because humanitarian efforts are more important than ever in addressing the problems brought on by the world’s economic and health crises. It acts as a vital cornerstone in overcoming these obstacles and promoting stability and growth.

The program manifests the United Arab Emirates’ humanitarian vision, which aims to attain sustainable development and social and economic advancement for the world’s most impoverished communities. Using the UAE enhances its status as a global humanitarian force in efforts to contribute to peace, stability, and prosperity for all of humanity.
