UAE: Father Confirms that Missing French Teenage Girl was Discovered in Desert

According to her father, David Croiser, who spoke with Khaleej Times, a French adolescent who vanished in Sharjah has been discovered in the desert not distant from her house. Following a thorough search by Sharjah Police and concerned locals, the discovery was made.

“Meline was not well and rushed to Al Dhaid Hospital in Sharjah, where she’s recovering,” stated David. After spending so much time in the scorching sun without water, her sister Justine said she was confused and “not herself.”

The family thanked everyone engaged in the search and expressed their deep relief at Meline’s safe return. As Meline heals, more information should be available regarding her illness and the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.

“We’re all glad we found her,” Justine remarked. She recounted the incident, saying, “The police saw her as they were combing the region (desert). My mother, who was trailing hard behind, noticed her too. An ambulance was sent for when they went to her and arrived in less than five minutes.”
