UAE Extends its Eid Clothing Program and Global Sacrificial Meat Campaign.

The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) carried out its sacrificial meat campaign this year in 53 countries worldwide, including the United Arab Emirates.
The project helped over 100,000 people in the United Arab Emirates and supported 400,000 more people on four continents. The Eid clothing program also reached 27,700 recipients outside of the UAE.

The ERC expanded the reach of its campaign to provide sacrificial meat in response to food shortages and price increases. Beginning on the first day of Eid Al Adha, in cooperation with numerous philanthropic societies and humanitarian organizations, sacrificial animals were killed and distributed through the UAE embassies and the ERC’s foreign offices.

This year, the Emirates Red Crescent sought to broaden the campaign’s appeal by incorporating as many disadvantaged groups and low-income families as possible globally. The project’s budget was increased to guarantee these groups got their fair share of sacrificed meat.

The ERC conducts global campaigns for sacrificial meat every year as a part of its plan to promote generosity and collaboration with all friendly and fraternal countries. This year, 53 nations in Africa, Asia, Europe, and South America participated in ERC’s sacrificial meat campaign.
