UAE Considers access to Healthcare as a Fundamental Right for all of its Inhabitants and Citizens: Minister

The UAE has effectively created an integrated healthcare system that adheres to the finest international principles, as stated by Abdulrahman Bin Mohamed Al Owais, Minister of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), with its leadership’s unwavering backing and astute guidance.

The Minister stated that the country’s healthcare system is meant to assure people’s well-being and happiness. This includes utilizing all available resources, improving quality of life, and securing long-lasting accomplishments.

The WHD is celebrated annually on April 7th, and each year draws attention to a specific health topic of concern to people all over the world.

According to WHO, this year’s theme was chosen to champion the right of everyone, everywhere, to have access to quality health services, education, and information, as well as safe drinking water, clean air, good nutrition, quality housing, decent working conditions, and environmental conditions.

Under the theme “My Health is My Right,” the World Health Organization celebrates its 76th founding anniversary on World Health Day (WHD). Al Owais released the following statement: “The UAE views healthcare as a fundamental right for its citizens and residents, with health policies geared towards delivering top-notch services and safeguarding patient rights in line with global benchmarks.
